About

1954 Gloria

Gloria was my mother's mother.

A lover of people, her home was a revolving door of guests.
In an era when women raised the children, prepared meals from scratch,
and hosted parties, she was quick to respond to a compliment with,
"Well thank you! I bought it myself."

Hair in a twist, lips a bright peach or bold red,
she moved about the room armed with undeniable humor, beauty, and confidence.

Dear Gloria is a love letter to the tenacious, the creative and the hospitable.
Whether the host always adding a chair to the table or the one who shows up for others, Dear Gloria is for those who bring a little beauty with them wherever they go.

Dear Gloria specializes in limited-edition collaborations with chefs and designers, custom dinnerware for people building their first homes, and classes for those who need to put down their phones and get creative.

All ceramic dishes are made by hand in my Upper West Side studio and other home goods, from glass to wood, paper and candles, are all made by makers in New York City.
