Intro to Pottery | Solo 4-Week Class

In this intro class, you'll learn the essential techniques of working on the potter’s wheel—from centering clay to shaping basic forms like cylinders, bowls, and cups. Each class will include guided demonstrations, individual instruction, and ample hands-on practice.

Students will learn how to prepare and center clay on the wheel, form basic shapes + trim their pieces in preparation for the kiln. All materials are provided + there is no additional fee for clay + firing.

All classes are held on the Upper West Side (98th & Amsterdam).
