Kurinuki (or 'carving out') is a traditional Japanese form of hand-building call which involves shaping a solid block of clay and then carving out a vessel. Thrown on the potter's wheel and carved in the exterior, this is our modern take on the traditional method. Made as a cup but often also used as a vase, this cup is a DG favorite.
This product was made by Gloria Founder + Ceramicist Katie Ellis in New York City.
Each cup measures approximately:
::. 4 inches in length
::. 3.5 inches in width
All ceramics are microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe.
